To view manatees and alligators, you should visit Big Cypress Swamp Welcome Centre, HP Williams Roadside Park, and Oasis Visitor Centre. To see many species of wading birds, try the mangrove tunnels at Turner River during the winter. The massive cypress strands of the preserve can be viewed at Kirby Storter Roadside Park.
