Miami’s Most Opulent Restaurants to be seen at

There are so many Miami culinary attractions that can be best explored in the city's many restaurants. To see the city at your own pace, get with the hop-on-hop-off bus tours that allow you to alight the bus whenever you find something interesting you'd like to explore, and then hop back on when you're ready to sightsee some more.

That Special Night

Miami is synonymous with opulence, luxury, and exclusivity. Apart from the many celebrities who visit, Miami is home to some beautiful people who live life king-size. Here are some of the city's most opulent restaurants to be been in.

1. The Dining Room at the Villa

The Dining Room at The Villa stands where fashion stalwart Gianni Versace had set up a luxurious mansion that was reminiscent of his Roman heritage. The 1930s building was covered with tiles and had a grotto pool, a large garden and luxurious gold-plated fittings. After Versace's death in 1997 the palazzo was open to the public as The Dining Room – a fine dining restaurant by Executive Chef Jeff O'Neill.

The menu at The Dining Room has many Mediterranean and Caribbean influences and is as opulent as the structure itself. Right from the Serrano ham wrapped scallops, and the lamb chops Romesco, to the crispy braised pork, this bistro is perfect to indulge yourself for any occasion.

2. Casa Tua

Casa Tua translates to 'your home for the evening' and this Mediterranean-style restaurant truly is just that. This South Beach restaurant is popular with celebrities and the social elite. The whole vibe is reminiscent of a bistro on the Amalfi Coast. For an intimate and private dining experience head to the second level lounge and or the romantic garden terrace that is sure to make your meal special.

The food is exquisite and the portions are small but filling. In the evening, the courtyard is lit by lanterns which are set up on the floor, in the trees and on your table. The soft glow cast by the lanterns set the mood perfectly for a romantic dinner.

3. Prime One Twelve

Prime One Twelve is one of the best steakhouses in the United States America. You can try a juicy slice of beef and choose from many delicious sides like the lobster flavorful bisque and the truffle macaroni & cheese. The juicy tenderloin and rib-eye are favorites for Miami natives like Gloria Estefan as well as other celebrities like Alex Rodriguez, Cameron Diaz, Chad Ochocinco and ex-US President Bill Clinton.

4. Joe's Stone Crab

The best season for stone crabs are available between October to May and if you're in the city during this time, head to Joe's Stone Crab for the freshest catch of this iconic Miami seafood. Chances are that you might have to make reservations way in advance to sample these marine delights. Lose yourself in the much-sought after crab claws, hearty clam chowder, Lyonnaise potatoes with onions, crispy fried chicken, and of course the chilled and tart Key Lime Pie.
